Welcome to the DisContent Resources page, a list of tools that I recommend for building your brand and working as efficiently as possible.
I have several reasons for creating this page. First, I needed somewhere to send everyone listening to the DisContent Podcast, in order to find the tools of the trade that I use. Second, I so strongly feel these tools can help you manage the “discontent” of content marketing, that I wanted to put them front and center.
Many of the tools listed below are the same ones I use every day. They are critical to performing the many tasks I talk about on this site, my show, and book series.
Your application of these resources will vary. You may use all of them or none of them. Heck, there are situations where I don’t need all of these utilities either. However, I have used every recommendation on this page at one time or another, and I would never suggest using something I haven’t personally used myself.
Before you peruse my list of helpful tools to accomplish your content marketing needs, I am required to share with you that some of the links below are affiliate links. That means if you purchase any of these utilities, I may earn a commission. That in no way increases the cost to you, nor does it influence the tools in which I listed. (Some do not have a commission or affiliate process at all, but that hasn’t stopped me from placing them here.)
Many of the resources below may not cost you a penny while others may offer paid upgrades or levels of service.
Please (and I say this wholeheartedly) do not purchase anything that you will not use!
In many cases, you do not need to buy anything, and my entire goal with DisContent is to help you build your business by only spending money when necessary.
