If you know where your audience is, sometimes you have to go out and find them. Posting only organically (i.e. for free) isn’t a good tactic to go find your audience – it forces them to find you, which is almost always a losing proposition.
Other caveats to social media marketing are also discussed including platforms you might want to avoid spending your hard-earned dollars on!
